As the agency owner, Bob is involved in most functions within the agency. Bob came to Idaho in 1969 on a football scholarship and graduated from Boise State College in 1971 with a business degree. (Go Broncos!) He started Ricketts and Associates in 1980 after an eight year carrier with the Prudential Insurance Company. Bob is active on a local, state and national level with the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America. He is the past president of the Boise Association of Independent Agents and Brokers as well as the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Idaho. He has also served as past chairman of the legislative committee for the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Idaho and for the continuing education committee for the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Idaho. In addition, Bob served on the Board of Directors of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Idaho for twelve years. When Bob and his wife Judy are not busy with their seven children and raising two of their fifteen grandchildren age 10 and 4 they chair a non-profit organization called Light My Fire. This organization raises money to support fire prevention education and the burn out funds for the Cities of Boise and Meridian. Bob is also active in his church and has been active in the local soccer community as a coach for over 21 years.

Jeff Morris has been licensed and working at Ricketts Insurance since 2001. Jeff was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. After attending College of Southern Idaho, Jeff moved back to Boise and attended Boise State University. Jeff married his very lovely wife, Sarah, in 1999 and they have 3 children together. Jeff has been the President of the Boise Association of Independent Insurance Agents, Young Agent of the Year for Idaho Independent Insurance Agents and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Idaho Independent Insurance Agents. Jeff volunteers for many community events, including the Idaho “Big I” Independent Insurance Agents Junior Golf Classic that he runs, along with co-worker Jason Swan. Jeff’s hobbies include fishing, hunting and camping. Instead of golfing, you will find Jeff in the hills on his days off!

Judy is the Office Manager and oversees insurance sales as well as customer service. She is married to Bob Ricketts has 7 children between them and 15 grandchildren. Judy has been with Ricketts and Associates, Inc. since 1995 and deals primarily with personal lines. Judy graduated from Meridian High School and then BYU Idaho. Judy is active in many organizations around Boise, Idaho. She is Co-Chairman of Light my Fire, Inc. a non-profit organization created for fund raising for Boise and Meridian Fire Departments’ fire prevention education and burn-out funds. Judy is also a member of Boise Association of Independent Insurance Agents, and Idaho “Big I” Independent Agents. Some hobbies include vegetable gardening, tending flowers, reading, swimming, ziplining, snorkeling, parasailing and traveling.

Terry Dee Elmore, LUTCF – obtained her insurance license in 1985 after graduating from Boise State University. She joined New York Life Insurance Company in 1986 and worked there until 1996, at which time she left to pursue her desire to become an independent agent. She was certified as a Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow (“LUTCF”) in 1994. Ms. Elmore’s primary focus as an independent agent has been in the areas of group and individual health insurance, including insurance plans for people on Medicare; she also continues specializing in life insurance. In 2009, Terry recognized that the government could possibly take away her health insurance business with the Mandated Health Care Reform (luckily that was not the case), so she decided to add Property and Casualty to her product lines. She is now licensed for Life, Disability (which includes health), Property and Casualty Insurance and certified for the Health Insurance Marketplace (also called Exchange). It has always been her dream to be able to offer a local, full-service insurance experience. She has been and continues to be a Preferred Broker with Regence BlueShield of Idaho and was named an Elite Agent with Humana Medicare Health Plans in 2011, 2012 and 2013. PacificSource also recognizes her as a Preferred Broker with the Medicare Health Plans. Terry has been married to her best friend and husband, Ron, since 1990. They have a son who is 10 years old and in 5th grade. He is involved in football, baseball, soccer, basketball and scouts and, of course, the computer game Minecraft. Their favorite hobbies as a family are fishing, hunting, camping, gold panning, snowmobiling and anything outdoors. One major addition to their family was a dog. They got a Coton de Tulear Christmas of 2012 and he has changed their lives drastically with so much enjoyment. Terry has been in the insurance business for 28 years and truly loves to help people with their insurance needs.
